Saw these two young bulls locking horns this morning, there were two cows and a calf nearby (middle picture). They were about 800 yards out when they saw me, I was not making any effort to hide as there was creek between us. Sorry the pics are not great, best I could do at that distance.

Sounds like you need a long range rifle for them. Get one of those 1,000 yard outfits and you will be good to go. After going out looking for deer several days, I stayed home today and cleaned up leaves, took the tops off some flowers, and mowed. Then I took it all to the edge of town where the "greens" are recycled and there were four deer about 50 yards out in the field. The only person that is allowed to shoot out there is the sheriff and then he sometimes takes the guy that reloads for him. The only problem is that it is groundhog only shooting there.

Great pics. Were you moose hunting or just happen to see them while doing something else? :wo: That background of snow really makes them stand out. I wish we got more snow here.
Very nice John. Thanks for sharing. Some day I'm going to make it back to Alaska.
