Well here's a couple pictures of the Jeep I got and was workin on
that I had talked about in another post a few months ago. Glen mentioned
to post a pic. Just put the lift and tires on it the other night. Not the best pics,
but a couple quick shots. I didn't remember to take a pic at the very start of
the project, here it already has the hood and a fender replaced.
Here's one that's kind of a before pic.

and here's the after pic. I'm happy with the way it turned out.

Looks like you did a good job on it. Fun to drive?

Nice lookin critter gitter Sc  tt!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
Oh, CCP's gonna love this :eyebrow:
SWEET :yoyo:
I love the XJ's theres so much you can do with them and will go alot of places and still be comfortable on the open road with room to store your stuff dry.
What tires you runnin ??
Another great looking project by the people here :yoyo:. I like the part where you said about the comfort on the the highway :readthis:
Cool! When we getting it dirty? :eyebrownod:
Ya putting a LOUD SCREAMING muffler on it? :wo:
Thanks for sharing!
Cool, now you need to bring it out here to the badlands and we will test it. ;yes;
T -6
Shweeeet! :eyebrow:
I have never owned a jeep like that but I have had a sweet spot for em since I looked at em. one of these days I am gonna find one cheap. I almost bought one but I had another 4x4 come up cheap so I bought that instead.
did ya buy it as a project or just as a fun toy? hunting rig?
nice looking jeep by the way.
Definatly a nice lookin ride. They are alot more comfortable than my TJ wrangler, thats for sure. lol couple hours ridin in that rail buggy and Im done. Wouldnt trade it for nothing though.
rail buggys are fun :yoyo:
Thanks a lot guys. I haven't driven it a lot yet, but I'm happy with it so far.
I like the way it looks too, a little more like me then just stock.
The tires are 31x10.50R15 GoodYear Duratracs. They're a new tire out this year.
I think they're gonna do a pretty good job. Not a full blown mudder, but pretty
aggressive, and I think they'll do better in the snow.
No screamin mufflers on this one. :laf:
Badlands, sounds fun.
I'm sure I'll get it a little muddy one of these days. :eyebrow:
Ben, I've owned 3 different Jeeps before, but all were left stock. I've kinda wanted to do this for
awhile so I told my buddy, who owns a salvage yard, to keep his eye out for one. He bought a couple
that were almost identical that were hit in the front end. So it's kinda "all the above", toy, huntin rig
that's not too nice to use, but will still clean up and look good and I wouldn't be afraid to drive
it anywhere.
Thanks again guys.
That is a sharp little jeep Scott. If it were here I'd be looking for some running boards and maybe a light bar. Looks like ya done yourself a good job on her, Congrats :yoyo:
9 miles outside of town we have 3 square miles of badlands designated for off road use. :readthis: :yahoo: Lots of fun!!!
T -5
After you get done running it through the Badlands of Montana head south and we'll try it in the Sonora desert of Arizona. Nice looking rig.
Man, that would be a fun road trip !! :yoyo:
Thanks guys
