Scent sticks fire em up and put the little plastic bucket over them and let them draw in the deer

My sister found them at Tractor Supply and thought Kurtis and I could use them
I will give it a real work out on Sunday
Illegal Here Bill. Have heard they work but then I've heard a lot of things :innocentwhistle:.
Never tried them Bill but I haven't hunted deer in years.
They may work better in conjunction with a well place food plot. :laf:

If I had to feed that much corn then I might as well just go to the store and buy beef :laf:
Thanks for the tip but I think I will pass on it :laf:

You'd fit right in around here. :eyebrownod:
Hey BIll. That doesn't look to be more than, say 50# plus or minus. At about $14 a hundred, it's cheaper than the sticker on your incense.
I would think the deer would sense danger in the fact that somethings burning.
I read the package and it said the scent coming off those sticks makes deer crazy If the scent reaches them the deer will come. The most common reasons for deer not to show up is ,the deer didn't smell the scent sticks ya think The deer were not in the area no shit
or You Didn't use the scent bucket You Must Use The Scent Bucket for these scent sticks to work properly
it is beyond me what a little piece of plastic has to do with spreading scent around anyway but it is stated very clearly you must use the bucket or the deer will not come
A human can smell these scent sticks a 1/2 mile away the smoke is an oily smoke and will cling to the vegatation for days and keep the deer in the area
msmith
The only thing I buy and set out for the wild life are trace mineral blocks they cost around $6 each and last over a year and it does more then attract deer it helps grow bigger racks :eyebrow: provides the does with the minerals they need while carring young and gives the young the extra boost to get started
Chris will feed corn so the deer come in the back yard but it sure isn't 50 pound at a whack
She bought 50 pound last spring and we still have 1/2 of that left
I will buy different things and try them out and give my opinion on them but I really don't use this kinda stuff Since my sister bought it and told me to try it out to see if it would give Kurtis the edge he needs to get a deer I agreed
Never tried these ones for deer. In the past we've tried the ones for Bear,
the same company makes em. They make ones that smell like Berry, Anise,
and one that's called "12 miles of dead fish".( didn't try that one. :nono:)
I think the main reason for the "scent bucket" is so it burns at the proper
rate. It kinda helps "billow" the smoke, and not burn too fast.

Eeuuwww!! Burning Canadian bacon Crack!! :puke:

Bill,
That 12 miles of dead fish might be worth a try - like under the neighbor's place . . . . . . :innocentwhistle:
Jerry
I've used the apple scented years ago and it brought in a doe and yearling. Didnt know they made them anymore.

Good Idea Jerry :laf: :yoyo:
They make about 10 different ones I will have to look at the pics again
:doh2: Man, how did I miss all this after I posted? :laf: :roflmao: :nono:
First Berry, not Barry, then a comma in there, and anise, as in plant, herb,
spice, not as in Barry's "anise". :nono: Freakin clowns. :laf:
Yeah I imagine a few dead fish ones burnin like incense would leave a little
stank. :laf:
 Jim made me do it. :innocentwhistle:
Yeah right :nono:
