Just wondering if anyone was having much luck calling yotes lately? been staying pretty warm here in ohio trying to wait for the temps. to drop thinking It would help my odds without feeling like I was just letting them get used to my sounds. guess I just dont have as much luck when the weather is warm.

Warm weather mostly takes the drive to go out of me more than anything. I like the coyote seem to get more active hunting when the temps drop off. :eyebrownod:
Been pretty good hunting this year when I get out so no complaints other than I would like it a little cooler. Looks like cooler weather for us here this weekend but Duck hunting will be in order in the early AM hours since it is our opener this weekend.Some coyote hunting after the ducks quit flying around 8:00am.
I havet set out after the coyotes yet but have started to try to find a fox or two busted once but no shots
I have heard a lot of people telling me they have been spotting coyotes during mid morning these last two weeks out in the pastures. Must be something to do with the new moon coming and passing.
It's been mid 50's here in my neck of Ohio but that is supposed to change Friday. :yoyo: I sure hope it goes as is forecast so I can hit the warming up spell Saturday afternoon. :biggrin:

I gotta get out soon. I was going to the house from the garage after skinning out a deer that BigDawg shot when the yote started going crazy. Yippin and howling in all directions. Really gave me the itch.
Same story as a lot of ya'll. Dang deer hunters!!!
I snuck out of work a little early Wed. afternoon, and made a few stands before dark. Called a bobcat to within spitting distance on the first stand, and hoped it would be a sign of good things to come - but the last couple of stands before dark were blank.
