Our duck season opened for us today but not a real great one as for as numbers for us. We hunt mostly swamps,creeks and ponds here. There is a lot of big water here but we like the smaller areas.
Had around 40 to 60 ducks on this pond all week duck season opens and there gone. We setup before daylight anyway hopeful they might get pushed to us from the lake hunters. It didnt happen :doh2:
12 did make it to our little corner of the world and was able to take 7. It was all over about 30 min after first light. Had fun as usual getting out.

We have a few great spots that are holding ducks, we will hunt those next weekend. Hopefully will have some more pics. Didn't go to them today because some of the guy's are in Arkansas and wanted us to wait on them. :argh:

Yeah I think Barry and I woulda been in our Speedos in that puddle. What was the waters temps?.... a boiling 40-45? :laf:
Looks like you guys get the joys of mowing your lawn a time or to yet.
I am liking that decoy deal though. I'd like to see it with a woodpecker or something for yoteeee's though. :yoyo:
