Last Monday, I did a few set ups for yotes, first two stands no takers but the third a little grey fox came in fast. I set up on a hill top that had been logged about three years earlier. I was facing south and the wind was out of the NW. I had the e-caller set up about 30 yards SW of my location, as soon as I turned it on this grey came charging in, ran past the caller about 10 yards started barking, turned back towards the caller and sat down and presented me with a 25 yard broadside shot, I had a 12ga and 17 hmr with me I used the 17. Its the first grey I have shot with the 17.
