Hey Al I highly recommend the "pin mandrels" (for what it's worth) if I remember right buildrone makes 'em.  I made my own best mandrels I've ever used.  (I don't have anymore round stock to make 'em)

I have already made two of em..... :eyebrownod:  Thanks anyways fellas.....My BIL makes em and lets me use his lathe to make mine from some purty cool stainless he has over there.... :eyebrownod:

we can even turn threads on em...both external or internal.....Thread adapters.....moris tappers all kinds of cool stuff.... :biggrin:

Looks good. Since I bought a collet chuck the only thing I use a pen mandrel for is the smallest coaxers.

I got a pm about the mandrels but can not answer it untill I get 25 post.  :madd: :madd: :madd: i will run around the board now to get the numbers up.   :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:
