Title: National Debt
Post by: blacky on December 18, 2009, 01:11:18 PM
I keep hearing the democrats talk about how much the National Debt has risen since George Bush took office in 2001. I am sure it did go up during those times but the following information shows what has happened since the democrats took over both the U S House and the US Senate in 2007.
Hypocrisy at it's best.

U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK
The Outstanding Public Debt as of 18 Dec 2009 at 05:34:48 PM GMT is:

The estimated population of the United States is 307,490,507
so each citizen's share of this debt is $39,468.11.

The National Debt has continued to increase an average of
$3.85 billion per day since September 28, 2007!
Concerned? Then tell Congress and the White House!

  Since I didn't spend that $39,468.11 how is it that I get blamed for it? I believe the debt should be divided among those that have been in Washington over the last 40yrs.  I can't see where any of us,, the common un-educated folk,, are responsible for any debts other than our very own.

I know what they are saying up there. I just simply disagree with that being said about the taxpayers that did not create $39,468.11 worth of debt.  :rolleye:
