Games I played today were connect 4, crib, jacks[with a ball and jacks], scrabble, skip bo and deuces wild. I won the scrabble game :innocentwhistle:. Didn't use one battery on anything :yoyo: :yoyo:.

Didn't take many pictures, but my wife, mother, and mother in law took a ton. Unfortunately, I don't have access to those..........yet. :biggrin: They were actually taken by real camera and not my trusty G'z camera/phone. :laf:

Thank God for grandparents, because I was fairly sure the kids were not getting much and then my parents and inlaws really stepped up and made it a good one. As far as I am concerned the kids got too much junk, but they were happy and I'd cut my arm off to see them happy as so many of us would.

This dadgum Wii the kids got from Santa is already trying to drive me nuts!!! I did the boxing thing. Knocked out 3 guys last night and was wore completely out. My back and arms hurt like a sumgun this morning. Ya can tell it's been awhile since I was in a throwdown. :laf:

Well Bop. I can say this. Them Wii contraptions will at least make ya move around. I been trying like carzy to loose weight. Been walkiing more. Trying to get in at least 4 miles a day. Some days are harder than others. Got a couple friends staying with me cause the house they were staying at burned. The boy has a Wii and I tried playing it a little and I will agree after using it for a bit you sure can get a work out. Not a real old fashoned break a major sweat work out or nothing but you sure will feel it the next day type of workout.
I hear ya on the weight thing. I've lost a total of almost 30lbs. with the majority of it being in the last 4 weeks. I had already been walking.... A LOT for me. Try to get in 4 miles every day, but have went as high as 7 so far. I also hung the 80lb heavy bag up and the speed bag. Been doing that 2-3 times per week. Only go about 20 minutes on that. Three minute rounds with a minute in between and I switch bags each round. However I don't swing that hard so I don't mess my back up. I make sure everything is tight before I throw. Playing thw Wii is a little different. You just throw like an idiot into the air. Made me sore.
Last month my blood pressure shot up to 197 over 117 or something like that. Couldn't get it to go below 175 over 115 for a few days so I went to the doc. He told me I was still too fat and gave me a water pill and another blood pressure pill. I am really starting to not like that guy. :laf:
You boys call me fat for free and I am having to pay him. :rolleye:
Thanks about the tree Barry. Fifteen years ago, when my wife and I first hooked up. I told her I would buy her an ornament for every Christmas we are together and I have. Then when the kids came along I did the same for them. My daughter is 12 and my son is 8, so we are getting quite the display on that crazy tree. :eyebrownod:
Another ten years and the dang thing will just fall over from the weight of the ornaments. Each ornament is always special and denotes what has been happening with each one of them that year or so I try to do it that way. :wink:
Diane asked if I told anybody about the conversation I had with my Niece about Santa. I said no but I will now!!
I had my 5yr old Niece,, Abby,, setting on my knee & I asked her about her CHRISTmas eve. She started telling me what she had gotten then just stopped. Her eyes grew big as saucers & they lit up like flood lights & she started to tell me about Santa Clause & how he had to stop at Grampa's house before coming to her house. Then she said,, in disbelief,, "He came right in the back door from my deck!! I don't know why he didn't come down the chimney." And shrugged her shoulders & looked at me. Since I was on the spot I just said that he didn't use the chimney because you were all awake. He only uses the chimney so he doesn't wake anybody up at night. She just smiled & nodded her head in agreement. :biggrin:
I was doing something similar with the Christmas tree when I was married. The X sent me all the ornaments after the divorce "all broken". I find it very hard to even put up a tree every year.
If it wernt for my youngest I probably wouldnt even have a tree. She does a real nice job of decorating it and helping me to stay in good spirits for the holidays. If it wernt for Kara I am not sure what I would do.

I've got a house full of those coyote pelts. Some you did for me and some I did after you taught me how. All I know is that I either have to start getting rid of some or stop killing them!
Those squirrel mounts are my wifes. We have about 4 trees on our property and both of those were killed from our very own trees! HA HA... One black and one Fox squirrel.
Thats a great idea!! I may have to do somethig like that. But I got a few more than 4 trees. Got me a couple fat little porkers that I keep feeding cracked corn off of a stump. As long as there on the stump or in the camp site area there safe. If they cross the ditch line there toast. Well toast and squirrel dumplings with some fresh apple butter and a nice glass of iced tea.
I haven't had a meal of squirrel since Sept. I may have to venture out. Youare making me hungry.
