Found this little treasure while walking the shores of Lake Erie in search of lost decoys that may have washed ashore yesterday. I know it needs a little TLC, but what do ya say buddy? Can ya help a guy out?

Kinda makes ya wonder the history of it ??

Rich-- PM sent!! I think I have a way to get the ol Torino home!! :yoyo: :yoyo:
Wonder if some of Hoffa's kin was in that car?
Baxters license plates are from the UK so probably not.
Not the photoshop Queen. The real pictures up top. :nono:
It does make you wonder the road this car took. One day it came off an assembly plant new and beautiful. Somebody saw it in a car lot and just had to have it. Then things changed, bought something different, the old car changed hands a few times and one day was just left as junk. Kinda sad when you think of it like that.
Might have carried someone on this board one time, back when they were just toe headed children.
Okay Bop, snap out of it. :doh2:
It is interesting to think about the history of this vehicle. I was wondering the same thing. Especially since it rests at the base of a tree lined cliff with maybe 30' of beach and no access roads. It makes me think it had to have been washed ashore. Curious about the story it could tell though. Maybe Hoffa, who knows
Maybe we could borrow Bop's waterwings and float it out of there
Steve
Get the VIN off it and see what you can find out.
Good idea Scott...next time I'm out that way I have a look and see if I can pull any numbers off of it. I'm guessing there won't be much left there, but it is worth another look.
I like finding old stuff like this too and think back what happened? At the LBL hunt I have found several old home places and a few old trucks and sit and wonder while there. Find an old Vin # or some more interesting stuff please post them up I/we enjoy tagging along.
Look at the pic. You can see that some trailer trash came through and cut all the wires they possibly could in hopes to get some money for the copper and get another 40oz'er :roflmao: :roflmao:
Such a classic... shoot, it just needs a little body filler, a couple of rattle cans of spray paint and....
