I made that long 5 minute walk from the house today, and on the way I came across this pile of feathers. As I stopped and gave a good look around I figured it must have been an attack from the sky,for the 8+ inches of snow only revealed deer tracks and nothing really close to the kill spot

after making a 20 minute stand and getting busted I made the walk back home
This is what was to my left and where the bark came from when I got busted about 5 minutes into my stand

This was right in front of me

And when I stood up to take this pic behind me I had 3 deer coming to my call

On the walk back to the house 2 more deer coming down the path I walked in on
Wow Bill that looks just like what I see :laf: :laf: Glad you got out there to see the wonders of nature. These type of posts make me realize that "easy" is not part of your world when it comes to coyote hunting. Thanks for the post.
Good pics Bill. Glad to see you was able to get out and try it for a while.
Hmmm I posted a few minutes ago but it hasn't showed up on the forum. will try again with congrats on getting out for a good morning. You've got a lot of critters responding and that sure is pretty country. Thanks for the pics!
 Dang Bill, some snowman done went and pooped all over your woods. :laf:
That looks like some real good looking coyote country you got there... now all you need is a BIG bunch of coyotes.
Yeah Chet it was tuff walking through 8+ inches of that snowman poop :laf:
The coyotes pass through here sometimes not as much as they used to the, hunters that are chasing them with hounds have really disrupted their travel routes
At least you called one in Bill!! I haven't seen/heard a coyote respond since the last day at RedBird. :eyebrownod:
