Jim
Looks like Thursday we will be back in the 40's for highs.
Jim I see I aint the only one that uses wunderground for their weather reports? I found them to be more accurate than any of the others. Especially on the the wind.
But they didn't tell ya yer gonna get wet if hte roof leaks on thursday  Jimmie
Been watching it on wunderground myself. I'm bringing a heavy blanket. :laf: :laf:
Long as it isn't raining and thundering I'll be happy!
Jim
Looks like the LBL will have a nice blanket of snow by Sat morn. Calling for 7"-9" of snow near the state line. Lows in the single digits Sat night and Sun. :whew:

That should get the critters moving. :yoyo: Were supposed to get any where from 6"-12" here tonight and tomorrow. It just started snowing about an hour ago and a coyote is howling in the woods behind the house as I type this. :argh:
I may break out the XP-100 and do a little calling from the back deck. :eyebrow:
I'd go with the Mach II Chet. I hear they work great.
They keep downgrading the weather here. It's not going to be as much snow as 1st predicted. Only light flurries falling now.
Ed, I would but with the broken shoulder I can't hold a rifle steady plus people say it's impossible to kill a coyote with a Mach II.
I hope the weather holds good for you guys... I want to hear some good hunting reports when we get there Saturday.
Don't worry Ed. Thats the way it started here and quickly went to crap about 3 this afternoon. Roads are a mess with teh melted light stuff under the heavy snow that is falling now. It ghas piled up fast since 3 and we now have about 2 inches here at the house already. Wife though she would clear the porches and gave up quick when she turned around and it had already covered what she had just cleaned off  Jimmie
Well Jimmie, the storm is past you. How much snow did you end up with over there?
Extended forcast is wet Fri, Sat, & Sunday.
We got 3 to 4 inches in Hopkinsville Ed. The roads are pretty bad right now, but they should be alright in a day or too. Unless we get more precip, but I don't think that is expected. See you at LBL.
Pat
We'll be there come hell or high snow!! Or water!! :laf: :laf:
Well the snow is just about over here in Franklin Tn. (about 60 miles due south of LBL). We have 5 inches of snow with a 1/4 layer of ice on top. It is extremely crunchy and noisy to walk in.
Looks like there is not going to be much wind through Friday. That should be good.
Jim
The forcast from the national weather service for the LBL area.

Looks like it is gona be wet and in the 40's.
Sounds muddy.
Rain and mud, watch the 3xx roads in LBL. Some of them got some mud holes that don't have any bottom. :readthis:
I have about five inches. Still diggin out the drive . Need a tractor around here, save me some folding over this gut. :iroll: Jimmie
The extended forcast has now changed to light snow for the weekend instead of rain. :yahoo:
I am going to the LBL but I am leaving this...
