Crow Shoot !!!  Hunt any 3 days in the time frame February 20-April 10.  Take a pic of your total crows accumulated over the 3 day hunt and include a FnF sign in the pic and post it here.
Have fun and shoot the heck outta em !!!  You must be a FnF member, or child of an FnF member to participate in this shoot.  Simple as that.  This year the winner of the contest will receive a hand turned crow call donated by Bills Custom Calls.   Thanks Bill !!!

I'm in. Something new to me and givees me an excuse to spend some money and make some decoys.

Sure, go ahead and start.  Thats why the time period is a better than a month long to try to get as many state seasons in as possible and still we cant get em all.   I have no problems with it.

Just set the date on your camera & start shooting!! Crows & pics that is!!  :yoyo:

I'm looking for more than 2 crows to a flock right now myself.  :laf: :laf:

They bare flocking now as the snow melts here.......looking for food/water........I seen about 75 in a corn field yesterday.  :eyebrow:

Find a dead deer along the road,I seen what appeared to be 50 of them on one dead deer

I have asked a few, walnut orchard owners if I could hunt on there property for crows and they looked at like I was stupid. :confused: Got turned down but I know of a pecan orchard about an hour away and he said I could shoot all of the crows that I wanted. so Im in.

coyote hunted near the gravel pits this afternoon and a GOOD sized flock came in to the rabbit blues.   If it doesnt rain this weekend I think I might give er a whirl.

was gonna do that too but I got the itch when I woke up this morning, couldnt get any of the kids to go  :sad:  all of em said they were too tired.  :pout:

I got up early & checked the radar & it looked clear. So I went to the back door & stood there for a few seconds watching it rain.  :rolleye:  So I went back to bed.  :laf: I was gonna go this afternoon but the rain just won't stop. Coupled with the 10MPH winds I said the heck with it.  :laf:

I cant........ :rolleye:  Season is done here and Ohio is no longer an option for me.  :sad:

The blizzard kinda sorta blew my plans outta the water  :pout:.  I had planned on doing what I read on the forum, what with the decoys, call[open reed and do my best] and all the neat stuff I've learned.  However with temps below freezing and miserable winds since Friday I was not doing that and freezing to death just to eat some crow :nofgr:.  So as time crept slowly past and I knew I had blew my chances at winning the prestigious, coveted and clearly in my grasp FnF Crow hunter of the year award.  I saw one coming towards me while sitting on the computer an hour ago, I immediately hoped this is the varmint that has been cawing outside every morning as I was now hunting.  I grabbed my trusty gun and snuck around the side of my house and dumped this guy at 40 yds.

Well done Al but it looks like Vic won the contest and for that I'd like to say congratulations :yoyo: :yoyo:.  Third place seems to be my lot in life and I'm happy with that as it sure beats carrying that stench from a black and white striped animal around with me  :laf: :laf:.  Anybody have a pattern that could be used to cut decoys out of tar paper with.  I'd think you could cut the pattern and then just staple the bottom in a tube type of configuration :shrug:.  I know it would be cheaper than going out and buying some Chinese made ones that I might or might not use once :madd:.

I was not a happy crow hunter this year Vic. There weren't many around for most of the contest. Then at the very end I found some. I had to work on that Saturday & Diane had things we had to do on Sunday. So I went on the last Friday of the season & found a bunch of birds in 2 different spots. I came home & got my crow gear ready. All I had to do was pull out of the driveway in the AM.  :yoyo: :yoyo:

I was waiting to see if ya got any before saying I won.   Wish more got involved but I know just as well as anyone spring brings more irons in the fire. 

I'd like to dontate the call to the youth turkey contest, they could use it as a locator plus too crow hunt  :eyebrow:   Maybe get the kids shooting some black chickens
