Two Spalted closed reeds for sale. Both calls are sealed inside & out, signed, and dated.

CALL #1
This is the longest closed reed I made so far. It is 3&3/4" long and has an inside diameter of 1" at the bell. This call makes a super loud raspy cottontail distress. Its is made from a really nice piece of spalted curly maple. It has a worm hole long ways on the side.

CALL #2
This call is 3" long and has an inside diameter of 3/4" at the bell. Its tuned to cottontail. This piece has a lot of figuring along with spalting and a few worm holes.

I have been so busy the past couple months I don't know where to start. Mostly work with a little play. I got back into the swing of things about a week and a half ago so you will be seeing more of me now.  :highclap:

Ok, the wood is perty but the shape is not in my personal taste range. ANything to put next to it to give it scale?  :confused:

Nope, nothing for size and its already gone so I can't take another pic.
It was 3&1/2" long with the voice, and the inside diameter was 1" at the bell.

Wow that is some cool wood. I love the colors in it....I can't quite put my finger on the shape of it though :wo:

Take off some bulk in #3. It has some wild color!
