Title: CCP and Straycat
Post by: Bills Custom Calls on February 12, 2010, 07:48:00 PM
I would like to thank you fellers for helping in make this LBL a very special event for Kurtis
He really enjoyed his time spent in the woods with you 2
He got to see a live coyote and and got to carry and shoot the AR
I know he will remember that and you for the rest of his life

I know everyone there treated Kurtis with the upmost respect and I am greatfull for that

So I guess I should be saying thanks to the crowd

Well Kurtis is still unsure of one person he met there,as he asked me,Pappa What was that thing that gave Semp the Bite Me award
My response was we are still trying to figure that one out buddy  :roflmao:

Jim
My only fear of letting Kurtis go with Joel and Rich was he would come back telling stories like those southern folk do  :whew: but I think Kurtis seen through all that  :roflmao: he still needs some more training in that department  :laf:

Ya should have seen the SMILE on that boys face when they come driving in absolutely Priceless

CCP and Straycat  :yoyo:

Bill, Kurtis is quite lucky to have someone like you.  :highclap:
After meeting Kurtis in person I don't think he's a really kid....  he's a more like 30 year old gentleman in kids clothing.  :laf:

You are all A-1 in my book

Kurtis did fine again this year. On the way home whilst the ol man was sleeping we played some AC/DC & Bob Seger.  :yoyo: :yoyo:  Then he bought a Queen CD to finish the road trip.  :yoyo: :yoyo:

It was a pleasure for Joel and I to tag along with Kurtis. He let Joel drive and me call on stand,we thought that was cool. Kurtis was very easy on us and only put Joel in time once. Kurtis also let Joel and I hold the AR before he busted off a round.

Some of the things Kurtis taught us was he has patience and respect for the older generation.  Kurtis set rock solid on the 3 stands we made and stayed right between Joel and I. He was nice to Joel and waited on the old man to catch up on those hills. :laf: He paid attention to what was going on around. He has a lust for learning and it is obvious he pays attention to detail and has the ability to retain it. He can entertain himself so he is never bored or bothersome to anyone. My hat is off to Kurtis,Bill and his family.

I would like to thank you Bill and Kurtis for letting us tag along, the experience and pleasure were all ours. I couldn’t imagine a LBL without Kurtis. There is no way I could read all those names during the drawing without his help either.

He did however hurt Joel and I’s ego when he peed 20 feet up in the air over the bridge.

It was a pleasure to meet Kurtis he is a fine young man and an inspiration for me.  It personally made my trip worth it to see his head hanging out the window and the smile from ear to ear on his face when He, CCP, and Straycat came rolling back in after their stands.  He was so excited at the great experience of hunting with those two.

:thumb2:  There is a great big two thumbs up to the next great generation of FNF!!!

Pat  Kurtis sure got to feeling better Saturday night after he got some tums for his tummy from you,Thanks Again

Rich,I am surprised Kurtis let you do any calling at all

Yes Kurtis is very kind to us old folks he walks with me and I learnt him well, that hurrying through the woods you can miss alot, plus be walking by yourself pretty quick

As for hurting your ego,I am not sure where he would have learnt that, unless he is peeing across the alleys in town  :laf: :laf:
