That is not the first lawsuit of this nature. If I were the students/parents I would use a small drill and drill out the lens on the camera. If they can activate the camera they have the ability to turn on the mic as well. So take a stick pin to the mic.
I also wonder what there guidelines are for inappropriate behavior is? If the student is at home then it is up to the parents to decide what inappropriate behavior is, not the school. I would think the School is gona be in for a rude awakening. Someone other than the goverment Violating someones privacy isnt looked well apon.
