Login"Billy Crocker move over!" LOL!
The wife was not home this afternoon, so I took a chance and snuck into her kitchen. :innocentwhistle: Found mom's apple pie recipe stashed away in the wife's cook book...A twist on a regular pie. It's done using a sheet cake pan. Topped off with whipped and baked egg whites. Then drizzled with struesel icing. This is going to be a good one!!! Hopefully the wife will forgive me stepping into "her shop"? This one is worth the risk. LOL!

Looks GREAT!!!
But now she knows you can cook! :doh2:
Looks very tastey There Dave are you sharing here looks like it would be worth a 6 hour trip :biggrin:
I have some french vanillia ice cream that would go with that great !!!
I was expecting to need to move this to a different area thinking that it was a call made from apple wood or a carving of an apple. I think I can see a few faces carved on some of those pieces of apple.

I've got the coffee! :biggrin:
Wow does that look good :biggrin:
It's one of those things you can smell just looking at it. Dated a girl in high school like that once, but thats neither here nor there.
Now that just looks down right tasty. ;yes;
YUM!
Man it's a good thing your calls aren't edible cause that looks as good as them and I'm sure it's gone now, eh.
Got my knife & fork. When is supper? :wo: :eyebrow:
My boy was home from college and was chomping at the bit to cut into it while it was still too hot. By evening it was half gone. When I got home the next day from the county job, there were just two small pieces? After eating supper, the boy managed to leave room for 1-1/2 pieces! That pie must have had "Bite Me" written on it? Cause thats what he did to it! Oh well, atleast it looked good! :laf:
