Title: Scouted this new place today
Post by: SCcoyotehunter on March 11, 2010, 08:37:59 PM
I recently received permission to hunt coyotes on this farm. I went today to look around a little and here is what I found. This is a small storage barn with some old tractor equipment and a few hay bails in it.

One of the 1st things I noticed was this pile of hay pushed up with a dug out hole in it for a bed.

Then I noticed scat everywhere.

They are definately spending a lot of time here. Old and fresh scat tells that tale. I will be coming back here to hunt soon.

I have seen a few barns where coyotes had been staying in them like that around here......
If left alone the will sometimes raise their pups there too.
Good luck.....sometimes its hard to get in on them barn dogs as they can clearly know your coming or they would not stay there.
So think on your approach........ :eyebrownod:
