So Donny and I had to go check the neighbors cows as he is away and it's calving season. Not like we mind doing it in the least as we get to learn more about our country and have some fun. I had Donny pick up the old German single shot.22 just in case we needed to shoot something. Donny found a few of these Richardson ground squirrels were just the ticket to waste an hour or two plus gain some valuable experience.

We looked them over and came up with this.

He could even make a letter with all the ones I shot.

You too Barry :eyebrownod:
Way to go Donny! :highclap: :highclap: :highclap: Nice shooting.
Pat
Way to shoot Donny. I think you would have shot them a lot faster if you didn't have to get them to line up so that when they fell they spelled out FnF.
Jerry
Cool deal Donny!! Aint nothin better than seeing a pile of critters under that smile!! :yoyo: :yoyo:

He could even make a letter with the ones I shot...LOL! :alscalls:
That is awesome. Wont be long and these two boys will be top dogs in this and who better then them to fill our shoes.
This little sport is fun to be part of up here. Farmers allow people on the land to drive around and shoot gophers cause they are a pest. I saw three others enjoying it within 2 miles of home.
looks like fun and good job :yoyo:
Good shootin Donny! You need to get your dad to bring you down this way to shoot some woodchucks. Looks like you got the open sights figured out. That's the best way to learn. Just about all of us here can recollect starting out with an open sighted .22 We're proud of you young man!
Dave

Good job Donny. :highclap: :yoyo:
