I did up a few calls this week and thought I would show them. Been turning some wood. I am almost out of antler and waiting for a shipment from a friend in Montana. In the meantime these are what I have been playing around with.

Beautiful. The further down I scrolled the better they got. It was like watching the fireworks :laf:
Thanks fellas I appreciate the comments.
I got a few done Bill but I can't keep up with you. You're a turning machine. :bowingsmilie:
John
That walnut & antler sure has a nice shape & look to it. :yoyo: Well they all do really but that one noticed me the best. :laf:
John
Ever since I started drilling my calls on the lathe turning got easier set the lathe up cut and drill 5 or 6 blanks one evening then set up to turn and in about 3 hours the next evening you have 5 calls done
Thanks Glen. I can't remember the name of that Walnut but it's not like the local stuff I get. I got it from heirloom "Brian" in La. I think it's from England.
Bill, I usually try to make one call a day. Sometimes I don't get to it until 3:00am after coyote hunting but I try to get one done anyway.
John
Nice work John!!!! I been working on some top secret stuff for someone to be determined later........ :innocentwhistle:
