Title: a few I did up this week.
Post by: John_NY on March 24, 2010, 01:34:50 PM
I did up a few calls this week and thought I would show them. Been turning some wood. I am almost out of antler and waiting for a shipment from a friend in Montana. In the meantime these are what I have been playing around with.

John

Ever since I started drilling my calls on the lathe turning got easier set the lathe up cut and drill 5 or 6 blanks one evening  then set up to turn and in about 3 hours the next evening  you have 5 calls done

Thanks Glen. I can't remember the name of that Walnut but it's not like the local stuff I get.  I got it from heirloom "Brian" in La. I think it's from England.

Bill, I usually try to make one call a day. Sometimes I don't get to it until 3:00am after coyote hunting but I try to get one done anyway.
