Aired last night on Pay Per View between Pierre and Hardy. Shoulda been a good one.

corwin will take on brock lessnar. GSP defended his title in a long drawn out 5 rounds. Gsp dominated him on the ground. corwin knocked out a huge bulked up frank mir in the first round for the interim heavyweight title and will fight brock in 5 months. frank mir got into power lifting and weighed in somewhere around 260 last night. At least that is what I think they said. I know compared to his other fights he looked huge. corwin hit him hard 6 times in a row and then got him on the ground and just pummeled him.
I only ever watch the reruns 6 mos later. :laf: :laf:
I'm happy Brock is coming back. I hope he is in good enough fight shape for his 1st fight back to feel good about himself. I don't care who wins but I would like to see Brock have a respectable outing.

Sounds like the GSP fight was kind of uneventful, I'm kinda
disappointed with the Mir fight. I always kinda liked him. I think
he's on the right track bulkin up, but the way it sounds, that's
not his main problem, there's not much you can do to "fix the chin".
for as much as they claimed brock lost weight he sure didn't look like it. brock came into the ring after mir was Ko'd and shook corwins hand he was pretty decent fella last night. not the wwe persona everyone claims he is.
That's good to hear. Then the question will be stamina if it goes more than 2 rounds. A life threatening event can humble a person. Even if he is a bad sumbitch like Lessnar. I hope he keeps his respect for the other fighters & the sport.
The GSP fight was kinda long and drawn out GSP man handled him and put him on the ground when ever and however he wanted. There was two submissions that GSP put on Hardy that would have broke most all other men I’ve ever seen fight. Hardy really hung in there but I would say he is having trouble feeding himself today because his shoulders and elbows won’t let him. GSP did apoligize after the fight for not finishing it and said he would go over the tape with his coach and see what he did wrong so it wouldn't happen again. I would say the only way he could have not let it happen would have been to brake Hardy's arm off and hand it to him.

yeah so was I jim. GSPvs hardy is not a heavyweight bout. GSP is the champion in that weight class and that fight (gsp vs hardy) was Gsp defending his title against hardy. There was a heavyweight bout that was for the interim heavyweight title which means he is next in line to go against the champion and shane corwin won that fight and defeated mir for that title.
I agree with palegroe that those to submissions would have had others tappin instantly. I can't believe that hardy did not tap. Gsp did everything but break his arm.

Brock has to do something about that Hammer Fist routine. He looks like a pissed of gaybo beating the hell out of his butt buddy. Hit like a man for goodness sake.
IDK that hammer fist is deadly. he finished randy coture with that move.
Not as deadly as it could be if he'd put some space between his fist when he uses it. He only gets like a 4 inch swing when he gets overly excited and everyone see's that.
