Rob and I go back many years. Have killed many a coyote on his place, four legged ones, seems we should have been killing the two legged ones. A true friend that I'll miss for years to come.
Next on obama's agenda, fast tracking them to US Citizenship.
The body of Rancher Rob Krentz and his dog were found shot to death on his ranch. Krentz, who always was good-natured and willing to help people, had called in that he had found an illegal alien at one of his watering holes and was assisting him. That was the last that was heard from him before his body was discovered.
Rob Krentz was a lifelong rancher in Southeastern Arizona, 12 miles north of the U.S./Mexico border and 25 miles northeast of the city of Douglas. He was the father of three children. The ranch has been in his family for three generations, more than 100 years â€" since 1907, and sits on about 35,000 acres with 1,000 head of cattle. Running a ranch is hard work and with the influx of illegal aliens increasing, Rob was at ground zero of the stampede that is destroying the fragile desert landscape.
The Krentz family has received numerous threats in the past by illegal aliens trespassing on their property. In 2002, the family was physically threatened when one of them stumbled upon a group of 39 illegal aliens. They were told to get off the land and they made threats. The Border Patrol did catch the illegal aliens after they were called, but we all know that illegal aliens, if deported, come right back across.
In 1999, Krentz and his wife Susan did an interview with PBS when they came around asking about the issue of illegal immigration and its impacts on the local ranchers.
“We’ve been broken into,†Susan Krentz told PBS.
“One time,†Rob said “You know, we’ve personally been broke in once. And they took about $700 worth of stuff. And you know, if they come in and ask for water, I’ll still give them water. I â€" you know, that’s just my nature.â€
In 2003, Congressman Tom Tancredo mentioned the challenges of the border ranchers, and in particular highlighted the the Krentz family’s plight.
“In the month of November, 2002, in the Tucson Sector of the U.S. Border Patrol … where the Krentz ranch is located, the Border Patrol apprehended 23,000 border crossers,†Tancredo wrote. “many people would suggest that the [apprehension] ratio is just about maybe one in five, and that is a very conservative estimate. … I think it is closer to one in tenâ€.
That means in that sector alone for one month, 8 years ago, the most conservative estimate is that 115,000 illegal aliens crossed the border in that one chunk of land in the Tucson sector. All of the illegals are unknown.
Tancredo notes that the Krentz’s did mention to him that they called the Border Patrol. In one instance illegal aliens had butchered one of his calves.
In February [2002] … a calf was butchered by illegal alien trespassers. Two men responsible were caught. They were tried. They were found guilty. They served a total of 51 days in jail. They were also ordered to pay $200 in restitution to the Krentz ranch. The Krentz ranch has not seen a cent of that money; and, of course, our best guess is they will not because these people have been released. They either came back into the population up here in the U.S.A. or returned to Mexico.
Tancredo goes into the cases of deliberate sabotage of the Krentz ranch’s water supply and the other impacts on the Krentz’s by illegal aliens. You can read more, where Tancredo dubs the Krentzs American Homeland Heroes
6 years after the PBS interview, in 2005, Krentz did an interview with KOLD as the number of illegal aliens exploded.
“We’re being over-run, and it’s costing us lots and lots of money,†Krentz said.
“We figured it up over the last five years and it’s cost us over $8 million,†Krentz said. “Cattle don’t like people walking through, so they move. So, cattle weight loss, destruction of fences, breaking our pipelines, they break them in two and (the pipes) run for two or three days before we find it.â€
Krentz went on to say that when he was a boy he actually knew the few illegal aliens that came through looking for work, he said it’s nothing like that now as hundreds of unknown illegals stream across his land.
Rob Krentz is just one of the many people who live and work along our southern border. A tough, hard working man who was trying to make a living and doing what he loved. Those who support illegal aliens will talk about “human rightsâ€, but where were the “human rights†when it came to Rob Krentz? Where was the government to protect our border and prevent this from happening, though they’ve been told time and time again? They didn’t protect his property rights, nor his civil rights.
This country failed Robert Krentz, his family and all who work for him. As they have failed countless families all across this country. The number of deaths is estimated to be from 15-25 deaths caused by illegal aliens each day in this country.
It is not known yet whether Krentz was specifically targeted or whether it was just one of the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens who come across our border every year who have actual criminal records, but in the end does it matter? A hard working man was killed on his own land. And all for just trying to help out someone in need.
And that is simply outrageous.
Rest in peace Robert Krentz, the country will surely miss a great and kind man like you
That absolutely enrages me as much as it saddens me. What nobody in the world could do militarily, they are going to do without even having to fight for it.
They are invading the U.S. and going to take her from us.
To think that sorry usurper we have in the Oval office is going aid them makes it all the more horrendous!!
It is a sad day for America when the rights of an illegal alien mean more to us than a man that has been a good, hardworking american.
Many people keep saying how much better it's going to get. I don't see it that way at all. It seems to me our founding fathers were not the weinies that we have become and they stood and fought for what they believed in. God help us. :rolleye:
I'm so sorry for you and your friends family John. I pray they get the sumbuck that did that to him and they chop his head off.
 it just make me sick to read this
I am sorry for your loss John I will pray for the family
If the Gov is not gonna put a stop to this it is time for the citizens of the USA to take over
Thats a pathetic shame.
It still amazes me how this goes on with the government doing so little to prevent it. :rolleye:
Sorry to hear this Mr John. We will pray for the Krentz family and there loss as well.
Very sad news.
My prayers and condolences for his family.
My wife has been down there all afternoon. She just called and said she's on her way home. Myself and a few others are headed down there shortly. Will be taking my AR with several 30 round mags, plus a shotgun. Plan on spending the night and as many nights as need be, we got enough volunteers so that somebody will be there 24/7.
Very sorry to hear this John! Prayers to the family,
and all that were friends of his. I can imagine what
you're feeling loosing a friend in this manner, especially
dealing with so much of the same thing yourself.
Take care.
John, I'm sorry for the loss of your friend and frankly pisssed off as an American. You be safe out there.
 Prayers sent my friend.........
This is just terrible, nothing on the news around here about that but if someone shot an Illegal and killed him the US Government and the main stream media would be all over them. The illegal border crossings have been going way to long and it does not look like no body in government is going to do anything about it, God Bless the Family. So sorry about your friend and glad you and your buddies are headed that way. Be careful. cc
John,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. We'll keep him and his family in our prayers. I truly hope his family finds some justice.
So Sorry to hear this as well John!! Prayers & Condolences go out to The Krentz Family as well as all of their Friends & especially to you & your Mrs.
I hate to hear this John, I'll be praying for the family.
My prayer is Rob Krentz's death isn't in vain. :argh:
Many other things I'd like to say but, ...... this is a public forum.
Sorry for the loss of a great friend, damn shame. Prayers sent.
Fox News is airing the story now.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/03/29/arizona-ranchers-killing-sparks-calls-beef-border-security/
Something has to be dune? This is out of control. The government has to do something or the people must!
My prayers go out to the Krentz famaly
"Sheriff's deputies, U.S. Border Patrol trackers and Department of Corrections dog chase teams followed footsteps approximately 20 miles south to the Mexican border. No suspects have been apprehended."
Suddenly Mexico is a better place to be.
Lets just declare war on Mexico & get this shit over with!
The only thing our government cares about is that they filled out their census form while they were here. :readthis:
Sorry for your loss JohnP. If you need an extra gun on the ranch, let me know. I got a couple and can still shoot fairly straight. Will bring my own ammo too.
Al
Pick me up on your way to Arizona, Al.
So sorry to hear of this, JohnP.
I'll keep the Krentz family in my prayers.
Very sorry to hear about this John. It's time to take our country back. This crap has gone on for too long.
What an outrage! :argh:
Prayers from the Smith family for the Krentz family and friends.
Sorry to hear it John. This is going on all over the country. The rules don't apply to these people, they only apply to the people willing to follow the them. Not more than 3 mile from where I work an illegal raped and killed a woman at a motel. A good friend mine had a neighbor attacked at a local store. The police knew who he was and did nothing, telling her they would get him on a traffic stop at some time. One week later he attacked another woman raping and killing her. These things didn't happen in TX, CA, IL. ect. they happened in good ol Knoxville Tennessee. :argh:
Let us get caught killing a M'can & we'd extradited to Mexico for one of their trials. :sad3:
:mad3:
This has been getting a lot of coverage on Fox news finally. Hopefully this tragedy can bring new measures to border control.
Sorry for the loss of your friend, John P. Prayers on the way for all concerned.
This story is dominating the news right now:
Ariz. Gov. To Act On Immigration Enforcement Bill
Sweeping Measure Would Be Nation's Toughest Legislation Against Illegal Immigrants
JONATHAN J. COOPER, Associated Press Writers
POSTED: 9:38 pm EDT April 22, 2010
UPDATED: 7:45 am EDT April 23, 2010
PHOENIX -- Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer on Friday neared a deadline to act on the nation's toughest legislation against illegal immigration.
The sweeping measure would make it a crime under state law to be in the country illegally. It would also require local police officers to question people about their immigration status if there is reason to suspect they are illegal.
A Saturday deadline for Brewer, a Republican, to act on the bill was set on Monday when the legislation arrived on her desk. She can sign, veto or allow it to become law without her signature.
Civil rights activists have said the bill would lead to racial profiling and deter Hispanics from reporting crimes. Hundreds of Hispanics protested the legislation at the State Capitol complex on Thursday.
The bill's sponsor, Republican Sen. Russell Pearce of Mesa, said it would remove "political handcuffs" from police and help drive illegal immigrants from the state.
"Illegal is illegal," said Pearce, a driving force on the issue in Arizona. "We'll have less crime. We'll have lower taxes. We'll have safer neighborhoods. We'll have shorter lines in the emergency rooms. We'll have smaller classrooms."
Arizona has an estimated 460,000 illegal immigrants and is the nation's busiest border crossing point.
Other provisions of the bill allow lawsuits against government agencies that hinder enforcement of immigration laws, and make it illegal to hire illegal immigrants for day labor or knowingly transport them.
The bill would take effect 90 days after the current legislative session ends if it becomes law.
Brewer faces a contested Aug. 24 Republican primary election, and one of her opponents, State Treasurer Dean Martin, has called on her to sign the legislation.
Also, the March 27 shooting death of rancher Bob Krentz on his property in southeastern Arizona has brought illegal immigration and border security into greater focus in the state. Authorities believe Krentz was killed by an illegal border crosser.
Since the shooting, Brewer and other officeholders and candidates have toured the state's border with Mexico. On Thursday, she ordered a reallocation of state National Guard and law enforcement resources and called on the federal government to deploy National Guard troops.
Arizona has previously passed a variety of get-tough measures dealing with illegal immigration.
Brewer's predecessor, Janet Napolitano, a Democrat who is now President Barack Obama's Homeland Security secretary, vetoed proposals similar to the bill just approved by the Legislature.
But she signed a 2007 law that imposes sanctions against employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants. Other state laws make human smuggling a state crime and restrict illegal immigrants' eligibility for public services.
The Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund said the bill before Brewer is unconstitutional because regulation of immigration is a federal responsibility.
Others urging Brewer to veto the bill include Catholic bishops, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, a Democrat, and Arizona Attorney General Terry Goddard, the Democratic Party's presumptive nominee for governor. Mexico's embassy also has voiced concerns about racial profiling.
A Phoenix Law Enforcement Association representative acknowledged that racial profiling can occur but said fears associated with the bill are unfounded.
"We're not targeting any particular group," said Levi Bolton, a retired police detective. "Cops are not here to do these things to you."
did anyone see the article about Mr Krentz in Americas 1st freedom magazine from the NRA. I normally breeze through the magazine but it took on a different meaning reading it knowing that someone I know knew this family on a personal level. shame it took illegals to kill an American to start acting on it a little bit by the us govt. Reading the article the guberment still thinks the border is secure. :rolleye:

I'll bet John read it and has something to say about it
I just got done reading it. Senseless murder. :rolleye: :rolleye:
Then ol janet napolitano says,, "I say this again as someone who has walked that border. I've ridden that border. I've flown it. I've driven it. I know that border, I think, as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been."
:doh2: All these border jumpers didn't just start a few years ago. They've been crossing into this country form that garbage hole since the 30's at least.
Operation Wetback :readthis: http://www.snopes.com/politics/immigration/wetback.asp
Very interesting article HaMeR.
That sure shows us how things have changed and wear were headed. :sad3:
I thought so too Jim.

Damn right I read it.
"I say this again as someone who has walked that border. I've ridden that border. I've flown it. I've driven it. I know that border, I think, as well as anyone, and I will tell you it is as secure now as it has ever been." It amazes me that none of our elected officials have challenged her on this outrages lie.
If the border is so damn secure maybe she could explain why this sign was erected.

That sign says "Target rich environment ahead" to me. :readthis:
so this rancher gets killed by helping illegals by giveing them water. now every one is mad and blameing every one else for his screwed up.
:nono: He didnt really GIVE them water, they were already there to take it regardless. He just didnt raise a ruckus and try to run them off.

Wow, what a dumb ass statement. Is that the same statement you'd make if it was
your dad that got killed ?
I don't give a crap if he had a freakin lemonade stand and was givin away free sandwiches in the middle of the desert,
that gives somebody the right to kill him ?? I think you missed the point to that comment in the article about him helping
someone who was suffering, I believe it was in reference to the mans character. Bottom line, they are in America
illegally,
they are on these people's property
illegally, there's only a few way's that come to mind of keeping people off there
property, and the government (the law) says that is illegal. So if the government says the land owners can't take care of it themselves,
then I believe it is the governments responsibility to make these people's property,(our country), safe for them (us).

DAYUM Brian. I know you have always just said stuff real blunt and over the last several years I have understood that. I never have let one of your comments bother me, but your comment there was bullshit. You know it and I know it.
That man was a hardworking, decent American, just trying to live the American Dream in these difficult times. He didn't deserve his fate.
The dirty rotten low lives sumbeaches that did him in need hung up a few inches off the ground, nut sack slit open and left in the sun to bleed out, die of thirst or maybe eaten from the inside out by whatever four legged critter comes by.
I saw tonight where our little town now has an all Mexican store in it. NO ENGLISH on any signs or anything. That's bullshit too.
Between Obama care, Black panthers wanting to "kill white cracker babies" and being protected by Obama, Cap and Trade, Usurping congress on appointees, Muslim mosques, protests against peaceful gatherings, and all the other bull going on, I've bout had it.
Conservatives say we must stay peaceful, but just how much longer must we?

Hopefully, you wrote this because you are just a simple red neck idiot who doesn't understand the situation.
*But* if you
do understand that this innocent man was killed by wetback scum on his own property, then you are a full blown moron. :rolleye:
Either way, wise up! :holdon:
