A few months ago my dad gave me my grandfathers .270 Winchester pre 64 mod. 70 and my grandma's double barrel .410. I gave the rifle back cuz he didnt have anything comfortable to hunt with :nono: ( he thought he was going to retire from hunting ) but I still have the old .410. I couldnt begin to count how many bushy tails this shotgun has taken. It brings me back to my sons age sitting on a sunny hillside with my grandma shootin the heck out of em.

I feel only fit to let my youngest use it this spring to try and bag his first gobbler. Darn thing holds a good pattern out to 20 yds. I think he'll be using it this fall as well chasing some bushy tails with me.

I love double barrels and 410 is a definite favorite. It looks good with the lad and I hope he wins everything in the turkey contest with that little beauty that i'm sure you are going to give me more info about :innocentwhistle:.
