Diane & I went for a ride this AM looking for turkeys. We were driving down the road after we had just gotten done watching that big flock of 60+ turkeys. On my side of the road there is a hump in the bank as the road stays flat. I seen what I thought was a couple puppies playing on the bank. We slowed way down not wanting to scare the pups or not be able to stop if they came off the bank. Once we got to within 100yds I told Diane to get the camera ready now. "Those are red fox pups!!! And there's Momma!! You gotta take em quick because she'll lead em from the road!!" BOOOOOYYY was I wrong!! There den was in that embankment!! The 2 smallest ones bailed into it as we crept by. Diane got some pics but was on the wrong side of the truck. So we turned around & went back. There is a 1:30 second video I'll post in another thread to help the dialup folks some so everyone can enjoy this post. The Momma disappeared back over the rise in the field but the pups stayed put. As Diane is taking the video & some of the pics she is literally 12-15 FEET from these pups!! We've found a couple dens the last few years but this one is definitely special. There were 5 pups total & 1 was a runt & another was a runt & a 1/2.
So with no further ado I will stop babbling for the only person left reading. :laf: :laf:
The den.

BTW-- These pics are for the taking by any of the Members of the Forums I've posted them on for their own use such as screensavers. So if anybody is ever desperate for a screensaver feel free to use any of them in my posts.
Aren't those dandys. You should have put a fauxpro in the picture and told a big story on how you called three pups in with a fauxpro. You would've made prostaff by sundown. :yoyo: :highclap:
Thanks for sharing those pics buddy. Now I got to head to the bathroom and drop a deuce. I saw Alscalls on here and that always makes my bowels move.
There were enough pro Foxes in that pic Bop!! :eyebrownod: :eyebrownod:
Is it Al or the mention of fauxpro that moves you so much?? :laf: :laf:

Cute little critters for sure, looks like a house very close in the background, could they be family pets. cc
That house is actually closer to 150yds from the road. They are cute too.
HaMer these pictures are some of the best I have seen in a while. Having the wife along with you to witness them had to be pretty special also. Thanks for sharing them dude! :yoyo:
