I have never seen walnut do this before and thought it was kinda cool

That first picture Bill, looks more like an older call that the finish/stain wore off some. I like it. Maybe you could call it a "new" antique. :doh2:

Brad That chunk of wood was really close to becoming firewood I had looked at it several times and passed it by.
Then I cut the bark off the one side and seen it had potential :whew: man am I glad I kept that piece
