the gobblers wouldnt say nothing this morning i heard one gobble way off in the distance on another farm that i dont have permision to hunt.so i just got on top of a high ridge where i could be heard good put my decoys out sat down started calling and hoping for the best.i just did a few kee kees and a couple of yeps and clucks and about 10 min here came this one and he had one with him.

he was just a jake pretty good one though 16 pounds 6 inch beard 1/4 in spears. the farmer i was hunting on wanted one to eat this one should be some goo eating.

There is more turkeys around here than there are rabbits. I killed one today that had 1 inch spurs. I"ve not hunted them very much but I see them about every day.
