Title: Weather at work
Post by: CCP on April 29, 2010, 08:13:50 PM

We had some storms move through recently here around one of the jobs I am doing. Thought I would share a few pic''s I took today this is 6 days after the storm. I have some more pics I will download later.

This is a small restaurant some of the guys went to on there lunch break. Just a slab and a few bricks left not even any kit stuff left not even a table.

Here is a wood lot 2 steets over.

Across the street from the job.

A house on the corner they just got through remolding. Everyday passing this house we kidded about you rekon they will ever get that thing finish well the week before this happened they finished and this is what it looks like 6 day after the storm. LOL

On the corner

This is the new cafeteria with the metal roof torn up. Amazing how my pipe insulation in the foreground hasn't moved or blown away and it is only 40 yards away.

Between school building as we drive by.

Could have sworn I seen Jim in an old Ford around the corner.

From the pics (nice job by the way) it looks like one of the tornados hit that area.  I have only been in tornado areas a couple of times and each time I am amazed at how some things will be totally wiped out and right next door or across the street it looks normal.
