We went fishing again this afternoon. Back to the little lake where I caught the five pounder last week. We landed twenty one fish this afternoon and got a close up of some of the local wildlife.
Paddling by the beaver lodge when this guy came down the slide.

He didn't seem too concerned with us and just went swimming by.

A few minutes later a nice bass took the curly tailed worm.

Three pounds three ounces and 18 1/4 inches long.

Another good afternoon.

Super looking spot to catch a beaver Pat :readthis: any luck :innocentwhistle:. Fishing looked like it was fair as well :whew:. You must be wore out, eh
Neat pictures and good catch on both the fish and beaver. I don't know about there, but around here if you are in a canoe or non-motor boat quite often you can get close to animals. But as soon as my canoe touches the shoreline they quickly decide I am no longer a log and beat feet.
