Title: Quebec sinkhole

A sink hole in Quebec swallows a family of four while in their house.
Now thats scary stuff :sad3:

I heard about sink holes in Florida.  Spooky stuff for sure.  :shock2:

Betweeen me and my dad there is an area I drive through that has a huge concentration of sink holes. Just from the Highway we have counted over 50 that you can see. But the Bedford area is known for its lime stone. There is also an undergound river that rus through there that you cann take a boat ride through

Anything built on a limestone base can suffer this possibility. Nature of the stone and water .

And also in coal country. There have been several of these happen in southern Ill. and Kentucky. They mined out the coal below and eventually the ground gave way. Jimmie
