I am building a deck this weekend and had to take dowm some shrubs. the shrubs were fire bush i think. and kinda woody, when i cut i n the wood is brite yellow inside , immediately i thought that would make good calls, have some pics will try to post tommorow, I am not a wood worker and not sure if this could be turned or not but would be willing to send what i have to some one if they would like to work with this and make a call for me with it. the wood is as yellow as the smiley faces on here, pics should be poste tom. , i was amazed when cut into it

Be careful....... remember I got put in the Hospital for breathing YEW...... Look it up and Identify it ........then find it on the Toxicity table to see that it is safe to breath. :wink:
