Title: Smallies are movin in.
Post by: FinsnFur on May 23, 2010, 12:29:06 AM
3 weeks ago we tried and this and hit a few but they were all males and much smaller. We decided to give it a whack today and things started out reeeeeeeeal good.

First four casts produced 4 real nice smallies, literally hunkerd into the rock line. I thought man all "L's" gonna break lose right here right now. :eyebrow:

Cellphone rings...we gotta go...and we gotta go now :doh2: Boy was a pissed. Gonna give er a whirl again tomorrow but I'll really be limited for time. Gotta get lil bean back to her Mom's

She would only take a couple pics, she's says, "Dad you gotta get some bigger ones or something they all look like the same fish. :laf: Are you sure your not catching the same one over and and over.

Smallmouth Bass, Barry. Usually found in swift flowing rivers where there's lots of current and they love rocky shores, especially if theres boulders or breaker rock.
Fun as heck to catch too. One 15" Smallie has the horsepower of a 23" Largemouth on steroids.

Now that you mention it, that does look like the same fish.  At least there were no L gang signs this time.   :innocentwhistle:

That sure looks like a PEta shirt in that first pic.   :laf:

All this fishing action has got me to thinking about dusting off the rods and reels.  (if I can find them)   :eyebrownod:
