Did any of y'all see the episode on History Channel's Monster Quest about Hillbilly Beast? It was about Kentucky so I decided to watch. Talk about LMFAO! :alscalls:
Here is a description from the History Channel:
Legends of a terrifying monster lurking in the back hills of Kentucky date back to the days of frontiersman Daniel Boone, but encounters with this mystery beast are increasing. Witnesses report alleged attacks by the creature and the sounds of ferocious screams from the wilderness. New photographic evidence may hold the key to uncovering the mystery. The MonsterQuest team goes on location to analyze the evidence, and heads deep into the dark forests, where they have their own frightening encounter.
Surprise, surprise, they were on location in my home town looking for the Hillbilly Beast!
I've lived here for decades, hunted and run all over the county, and have NEVER even heard of this crazy legend. :alscalls: Plus one of the "experts" they talk to is a local nut case. :loco: Give me a break, History Channel!! :laugh2: Then they brought in an "expert" wildlife tracker and showed swamps and sloughs and recorded weird noises and recounted ancient legends about a 8 foot tall hairy beast who picks up 100 pound hogs under each arm and runs off in to the woods with them. :alscalls: :alscalls:
But I gotta give the History Channel credit. It was an entertaining show. :laugh2:
Don't know if I seen that one but I did watch one of Big Foot and the different names and areas of where he had been sighted, and yes your Hillbilly Beast was mentioned in that show also, they also dated back to drawings on cave walls pretty much before time began :alscalls:
Some of the footage was kinda way out there and most of the sightings were in the late 60's and early 70's
My self I was thinking of the all the drugs that were introduced in that time and the folks they were talking to were really burnt out :nono:
They did a little research and found the creature roams all the way to Tennessee.
