I received an unexpected package in the mail today from West Virginia. :confused: I didn't recognise the name and was wondering who sent it. :wo: Well, I opened it up and this was inside. The Bear Jaw knife from the auction.

THANK YOU BARRY :bowingsmilie: You are a very generous man. And I really appreciate that you were thinking about me. This knife will have a good home here and it will remind me what such good friends I have. Thank you very much. And also a thank you to "Doc", your co-conspirator. :bowingsmilie:
The knife is very well constructed. It seems bigger than it appears in the picture. It has a good heavy blade and fits the hand remarkably well. :yoyo:
Ed
Ed you are more than welcome and I hope to see a picture of a "bear" of a man using a bear knife. The help you gave me in chat before my expedition to the LBL[and during] will be forever appreciated. :bowingsmilie:
Purdy cool Barry. Nice grab Ed!! :laf: :laf:

Semp, I appreciate your words :biggrin:. What you fellows have done for me and my family are many fold above what I could possibly do :readthis:. [L] man I can say I been in MT, ND, SD, WIS, MIN, ILL, Tenn, Missouri, Kansas, ND, IA and
KY. You can't imagine the stuff I've learned in a couple years talking with some of the coolest people in the world :bowingsmilie:. I got peanuts about to come out of the ground :shock2:.
Ol' Barry's a good fella. One that we're proud to call a friend. And Ed's not too bad either. Except when he sneaks through the state without stopping in! LOL! Anyway, a dang fine gesture on Barrys part. A real beauty of a knife. It could not have been given to a finer person. :congrats:
Dave
Very nice thing to do Barry. :congrats: :congrats: Once again showing what a great bunch of folks hang out here.
Pat
Solved that little border problem EH! ................ Class act again Barry! :highclap: :highclap: :highclap:
Ed..... It could not have happened to a nicer fella....... :congrats: :congrats: :congrats: :congrats:
That's just beyond cool. You couldn't have sent it to a better guy Barry. I consider ole Ed a personal friend. He and I talk pretty regular and he is class all the way through. I'm tickled for you Ed. AND you Barry. Your generosity exceeds the length of your buttcrack which is quite considerable if I might add. :laf:
You are both gooderns in my book. :highclap:
To keep from being redundant I'll just say I agree w/ the guy's above posts. ;yes;
Thanks for all the kind words from the rest of you guys too. Y'alls a heck of a bunch of good fellers. :yoyo:
Glad you liked the knife Ed, and I'm really glad I didn't have to try to smuggle the dang thing into Canada. :whew: :whew:
