As you know I know absolutely nothing about woods or types there of :pout:.  How ever that is some cool looking stuff you got there :yoyo:.  If you can't get enough calls made you could maybe look up Dave cause I'll bet he could find a canary in it :innocentwhistle:.  Thanks for sharing that. :bowingsmilie:

You too John. :laf: :laf:

It sure is yellow. I wonder how long it will take to dry.

Looks like that stuff is spalted some and soft enough its breaking.......... That aint good....... It needs cut up and sealed on the ends right away as it may already be to late for it unless stabilized......

Or I could just use what I got.....

Burnt Osage (Hedge Apple) striker....... not finished yet....

Osage (Hedge Apple) pot call......... not finished yet....

I still have plenty of it.....

It dont look big enough for a turkey call but that piece on the right might get you a predator call or two...... I cant see it real well but it looks better shape.

Only thing I can see ya done wrong in the pic posting was.......... somehow the code was fine, but the IMG in the  [] was in part missing......... try copying the IMG code from photo bucket then go back to your posting window and on your keyboard hit Ctrl V   the code will appear exactly as it needs too.   when you hit preview you will know if its right.

I can try to turn that stuff if ya want........ if its green it will take some time to dry...... but it looks soft in the middle in places....so no guarantees.
