Jim before you say anything Al did get a pic of some hot women that stopped by
so you will have to wait for his post
Yes I sold a few calls and made a young boy very happy his dad bought a call and he got one free he had a  as he said THANK YOU and they walked away
As Al and I were BS's our way through a coyote seminar we ended up with a crowd of about 15 young fellers that hung on every word
I picked up another hunting partner during our talk and as we were putting the end to that a feller walked up I thought I knew as e nodded, smiled and waved. He walked up and told me he bought a call off me 2 years ago and he had a story to tell me.
To make a long story short him and a buddy went hunting coyotes in a heavy snow and called in a coyote and they lost the call, and he was there to replace the call cause he is hooked on hand calls now, well I sold him a closed reed and an open reed he got some free lessons and he left a happy customer,Oh yeah he wants me to hunt with him and I found out he has permission to hunt some land that I have been wanting to hunt for 3 years
Way to go Bill and Al! :congrats:
Oh yeah we will be set up again on Saturday
I forgot to mention I had 2 women wanting to kick my back side :whew: For some reason they thought I was killing a pup  :alscalls:
Cool stuff Bill. I hope you guys sell a lot of calls. :congrats:
Brian
Oh the things I could have done with a couple quotes :doh2:. That looks like a few great tables to me :bowingsmilie:. Sell the stories Bill and Al as that is the way to make money on your wares. I've done to many shows and watched guys with better stuff than me sell nothing cause they didn't talk while things were walking off my table . Now no more BS until the babes show up :pout:.
I am having trouble ......... spending more than I will make........ :doh2: But I am having a Good time! See ya tomorrow Bill! :yoyo:

It is really hard to believe that how many local's didn't know I even made calls
Not sure if anyone here knows Wilson Game calls but I found out that he just passed away and he lived about 5 miles from me,no I never met him.We were asked if we knew anyone that might be interested in some exotic woods to make calls out of  the man had a 10 x 10 ft shed full of call blanks I told them I would be interested in looking no doubt.
After doing a little search I will get this call makers full name cause there are a few Wilson game calls out there
Jerry Wilson of Wilson Game Calls, located in PA passed away on March 25, 2010.
No wrong Wilson Todd this one lived in Fresno Ohio
Wow did I ever screw that up
William Mullen Turkey Call Maker

Bill,
Looks like you are having a good time and better yet the sun is shining on you. Stay dry and have fun.
Jerry
Does Al play his guitar and sing to you till passers by stop? Cause it looks like it could be a good time, unless he starts that. :laf: :laf:
Of course I'd blame it on the heat :eyebrownod:
Was it a good crowd or not?
Al Played the guitar but he didn't sing :whew: :laf: If I would have played the guitar it kinda would have sounded like this plunk plunk plunk :alscalls:
We had a wonderful time the weather was hot and dry for a change the crowd #'s were low this year and sales were way down I did get to meet alot of folks who may buy a call or so in the future I handed out a few cards, and met some folks that I probably would have never had the chance to meet if I didn't set up at this event
I had a Great time Bill! Thanks

Thats Great !!! So it was worth the trip then
Al it caught my eye!! I had a few years ago when you could get universals for $75.00 and Iver Johnsons for $150.00.
I started looking for one a little while back and cant find a decent one for under $550.00 and a good Iver Johnson is running around $750 seen a few plainfield paratroopers go for 700 to 800 with the original folding stock. Inland M1A1/M1 paratrooper carbines are as high as 4 to 5 grand.
If I had any idea they would bring what they bring now I would have bout a 100 of them back them. I even remember Woolworth having them for $75.00 and SKS's for $65.00 now the dang SKS's Are fetching 2 or 300 at times.
Looks like you guys had a great time....
