It looks like I'm going to be having a guest for supper sometime in the near future. :innocentwhistle:

It didn't look like this Friday when I mowed the yard :nono:
Looks like maybe a groundhog. That's how they do around barns and such down here. Have you seen whatever it is?
Damn, wheres all the snow ? :wo:
 from the 1st pic I though some of your relatives had bought a Ford truck...you knew it'd break down and they'd be staying for supper. :laf:
Looks like Dave has competition for Honey Hole #1 and Honey Hole #2.
Jerry
Ain't ate a lot of skunk myself but go ahead and enjoy :hahaha:.
Barry, do you guys grill em, or coat them like chicken fried steak and then fry em?
We find that laying on the side of the road for a week seems to tenderize and get rid of a lot of the odor :iroll:. Then we roll them up and I try to get 10-20 together for a good meal :wo:. Seems frogs like them the best so I drop them off where there are lots[or one] of them :innocentwhistle:.
 Ground hog? Yep, could be... Skunk? Possibly?
or even.....

but the hole looks too small for the girl. :laf:
I'd like to try one in the slow cooker with a couple bullion cubes
By the way for the record, the guests have decided not to show. I shoveled the fines back in the holes and packed it with the back of the shovel so I could see if anything came back or pushed it's way out.
Nothing has been disturbed............yet.
Chet, she wouldnt fit in those holes, they werent that big.
....unless she took her hat off.

You sir, are a sick and evil person :madd:. That thing made be about :puke:.
:alscalls: :alscalls: :alscalls: Sorry about that
Dammit Chet!!! You know how I feel about any snake. You sorry turd. :eyebrownod:
I've been watching where those suckers are taking over Florida. I would sure hate to run across one out hunting. DAMNNNNNNN!!!
Chet , I have no idea what is wrong with Barry and James :wo: That looks like a heck of a lot of chicken fried snake to me. :innocentwhistle: Jimmie
I sure hope they don't suffocate under your garage Jim!! :alscalls: :alscalls:
Call Brent & see if he'll make a road trip North. :yoyo: :yoyo:
I went out there tonight to fire up the grill, and the sumbitches were dug out again.
I called my brother who is basically a Brent two fold. :eyebrownod: He's been trapping for 30 years, and he'll tell ya all about it :innocentwhistle: :doh2:
He was loving it. He buried a leghold in front of the bigger hole and then set a live trap with some kinda Chanel #5 on a cotton ball hanging inside it, between the two holes.
So we should have some good roasts by this time tomorrow, if I can get em cleaned before the sun gets to em. :eyebrow:
If they are small ones they are good eating. Heck they eat the same things as rabbits & deer. :yoyo: :yoyo:
Course all the pics you post with a Bud Light in em might make em taste a little gamey. :innocentwhistle:
No doubt about it. I recognize those diggings. :hahaha:

HaMeR those are for size reference only. :innocentwhistle: They in no way indicate that I am consuming them either while taking the pics or in the midst of other any other doings :whew:
Dave, I'm beginning to think it's a skunk...but I hope I'm wrong. :sad3:
The pads on the front feet are leaving some pretty long imprints. Almost too long to match a groundhog
:doh2: Nothing yet here.
The day after the trap was set it poured rain all night long. Needless to say every little piece of dirt and fill for 3 surrounding counties came to rest under that pan and made a beautiful solid base for this critter to safely dance on. :alscalls:
I tried to reset it tonight myself. I'm not much of a trapper :nono: so I'll be as surprised as anyone here if there's fur in it over the next couple days.
On the good side...I still got all my fingers...see? :yoyo:
Looks like a digit or two missing to me Jimbo, but what the heck would I expect from a 'puter geek. :eyebrownod:
