This is my Hi-Standard Sport King .22, great shooter and classic old gun...I use it for squirrels and such, the scope mount is made from a socket sawed in half then drilled n tapped and then tightened onto the slab sides...works like a charm!

Nice old firearm and a really cool bit of enjinering to make the mount! Thanks for sharing.
Now where in the heck did I put that 5/8's deep well? :laf:
pretty clever.
Those are great little pistols. I have one that belonged to my Mom. It srue feels good in the hand!!

I have a Hi-Standard Victor. That pistol is amazingly accurate! :eyebrow:
Ground Grizzly down!...they are sweet shooters and mine seems to fit my hand perfectly..I make pretty easy head shots on squirrels with the red dot on mine.
nasty . . .
Does the slide on yours lock back after the last round. Mine does not. I'm not sure if it supposed to or if mine needs some work???
Jim
When at the range & I don't have any other rifles to shoot & I'm letting a barrel cool down I'll take & throw a few golf balls down the range & get the Victor out & chase 'em down range. At 80yds I'll hit 'em 8 outta 10 times. Like I said that is an amazingly accurate pistol!

Yes, Jim, it is suppose to. There is a little spring under the slide catch that often gets lost. (mine is missing too. :iroll:)
