These were, as some of you may recognize, originally Amphibious Vehicles used by the military. They gave tours, rides etc in them up there. Tourist money traps basically.

Looks like you had a great time with the family Jim. I'll be passing through the Dells Friday on my way to Canada. Wish I had time to stop and check out some of the facilities.
