Title: Good thing it came to Canada.
Post by: pitw on July 30, 2010, 09:52:46 AM
I had a box show up in the mail [runners on the dog sled are sure shined up this time of year ] the other day.  In it were two calls from none other than our resident carver/painter/hunter and all round good guy, Mr Dave HuntnCarve :yoyo:.  The whole family was here to unveil the Bite Me call that can be viewed http://forum.finsandfur.net/index.php?topic=12456.msg140826#msg140826 and man did I have to  :alscalls: :alscalls: :alscalls: :alscalls: :alscalls: :alscalls: when the wife said, "Wow is this coyote nice :bowingsmilie:, but that other one is.............................................................................................. scary". :laf:  Then my Donny had to see about getting us in trouble by blowing on the dang thing in the house again :doh2:.   Only this time we made a video.

That is a HOOT!     :congrats:     I think Dave sent it to Bop and Bop put a new reed in the call.  Sounds like no other call that I have ever heard.

I believe thats the first time I heard "Dixie" played north of the Mason Dixon Line?  Yep!  That'll do Ol' Bops heart some good. :laf:  Thanks for the chuckle Barry, Donny, and the rest of the gang!

Correct me if I am wrong?  But isn't the "Battle hymn of the Republic" a Northern Yankee song?  Bop's gonna have a stroke!!! LOL!

Funny part of that song was when we pulled into the marina where we got on our house boat it was miraculously playing on our vans stereo at full blast :eyebrow:.  This fat little old fart who looked like the three stooges[and acted the part perfectly] came running over and asked,"Yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh'lllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll ffffffffffffffffffffffrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmm dddddddddddddddoooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnnnn ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssooooooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuttttttttttttttttttttthhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh[that only took him a minute :whew:.  To which I replied, "Yes sir all 245 miles of it".   He looked at me like I was some kinda/sorta retard and then started explaining life to me, but I had to stop him after the first IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII as we were in a bit of a hurry. :laf: :laf:

I just don't think that Bop will be able to apply a Bite Me when he hears the sound coming from that call.
