.........Earthed. :doh2:
I knew the aerial photo of my home by Google Earth was about 7-8 years old, but I was looking at it last night to show a friend some moose hunting areas. :innocentwhistle: As an example I brought up my street address, and was checking it out when I noticed a feature that says street view. So I click on it and it brings all these cameras up along my street. I checked the one that is at the end of my drive and noticed "Hey, my garage door is open." Upon closer look, not only is it open. The wife is out front cleaning the car and I'm on the front porch drinking some tea on what looks to be a break from lawn work. :shock2:
It was taken last fall some time, but after some thinking. I remember that car go by. It was a small dark colored car with this big antenna/pod thing on top of it. I just figured they were doing some sort of cell phone reception test or something, but never really thought much about it.
So now I'm a Google Earth Pro Staffer.
They actually drive around and take a picture of the front of every single house...I mean EVERY SINGLE HOUSE?

Big Brother is alive and well and his name is Google.
Todd,
Now we know. You sit on the porch and have a cool drink and your wife works! I am glad that you weren't scratching anything when the shot was snapped. :iroll:

Not every house. Around here they just done the main roads and some of the main backroads. They did our road too. The car that drives around has some kind of an omni directional camera on it. You can see 360 around you, the sky and the pavement.
Here is another example of Big Brother Google .....................
