Me and my freind Buckshot got out for a few stands this morning. It started out foggy but the temp was OK. Not to hot to start. But by the 4th or 5th stand the sun was cookin. It got HOT !! We were at our last stand and getting ready to quit. We had some pup distress playing on Buckshots Spitfire. This female came running in to within about 5' of Buckshot, then circled about 30 yds out in front of him. He shot her with the 12 gauge BBs and she ran about 20 yds and gave it up.

She was at least 1 yr old, maybe 2. She had nursed pups this spring.
The reason I asked is I saw one about a mile from here the other day, and it looked like this year's pup, long legged and skinny. Hard to tell with little hair like they have now. They are getting to the time of the year now where they are getting most of their height.
WTG guys!! :highclap: :highclap: :highclap: :highclap:
Another nice one! That sure is some thick stuff there. Did you hunt standing up? :wo:
Buckshot was standing when he shot that one. Some of those weeds were more than waist deep. We were trying to avoid those but ended up in 'em anyway.
Only had 1 tick on me.
mannnnnnnnnn it just looks HOT! :sick2:
Nice job on toughin it out and puttin one in the dirt. :yoyo:
WTG guys!! Good to see you are getting out!
Jim
That is awesome Ed :bowingsmilie:. I'm thinking if it would cool down some I might even try that. :whew:

:yoyo: WTG Ed & Buckshot!
Dang Ed! You're gonna have Kentucky cleaned out of coyotes in no time! LOL! Congrats on a great hunt! You stuck it out, and it payed off once again. :congrats: Gotta hate those ticks.
Dave
Congratulations on the kill Ed. Much to hot to be out in the desert, it was 85 this morning at 6:30. I will not be out until late Sep or early Oct.
I think it was about 93* while we were hunting. Today I was working in 100*. They were both hot, but I think I enjoyed hunting in the heat better than working in it. :eyebrownod:
