LOL good thing he took a pic and had a witness or that story would have been just another big fish tale. Think that $9.00 frog would work on land ??

:laf: :laf:  I was fishing one afternoon with a buddy & we were up in a bay. I told him there was a bass right over there by that little stump & I was gonna catch it. I threw a spinner bait about 2' behind that stump & when it hit the water that damn stump just exploded!! Here it was a beavers head sticking up just out of the water.  :laf: :laf:

I don't think the coyote woulda lived to tell about his misadventure either.  :nono: :nono:

That is friggin crazy :laf: :laf:
Goose island is about 150 miles from me.

It doesnt say how long they toughed it out but I wonder what kind of line he had to pull the coyote in.
That would be a blast.

Having had one of them critters by my boat I don't think it would take much line to hold them and I also think after seeing it that our hard cold killers would have melted and watched just as I and the fishermen did .

Me thinks too :laf: :laf:
Ungulates and other four legged critters in the water are fairly vulnerable and easy prey for people in boats .  I know natives who have drowned the big ungulates with nothing more than the paddle/oar and they do it to subsist so it is just part of living.  We hunt more for sport and there is no sport in killing something out of it's element.  I guess that's why so many city slickers leave me alone when I'm there :eyebrownod:.
