Jim and I went out today, in the snow........saw 4 this morning....killed one, missed one....2 walked away....but while walking in to one of the stands, we came across something very interesting...looks like a bobcat had a rat for breakfast....it was very fresh when we found it...

Thought ya'll might find it interesting...I did.
Oh yes....the dog was a three legged dog, one rear leg was missing, was completely healed....

I think it's interesting. Anything about bobcats is interesting to me lately. A friend found something similar last fall. A cat went under a sandstone overhang, apparently came out with a pac rat and ate it a few yards away in the creek bottom. It went back under that overhang two more times during trapping season, and neither time could I catch the bastard. So...next year.
Wish we had snow like that here so I could do some real scouting.
