We got fourteen surplus M16's a few months ago. These are old guns, no forward assist and one of them has a 4-digit serial number! These were Navy guns and are in excellent condition. They are going to be modified so they fire semi-auto only, and used as patrol rifles. I took this one out today to check it out:

got to go full auto with m16 severl times when in the coast guard . also got to shoot at 50 gal drum from about 7-8 miles away with a 25 mm gun . THAT WAS FUN. the shell stood taller than my knees. when you shot u could the energy wave move thru u body and down in to the deck
