Golden root and ginseng I used to dig when I was in my teens but there was so little of it around here just never hunted hard

Never dug any but the Ginseng is pretty common in mountains just north of me and lots of people dig that but never heard of Virgina Snake Root, What is it used for? cc
I used to dig the ginseng back home in Indiana.

Dry it and sell it......... The sang goes for over $300 a lb. The yellow root is about $18lb and I for get how much for the snake root....... around $6-8lb I think...

Thats one of the things my wife does for a living Bill She buys hides, roots, and leaves for re-sale....
Anymore they only take cowhides and deer hides and let everyone else fight over the fur market.
