Title: Black whitetail fawn

Has anyone ever seen one of these?   They are supposed to be rarer than an albino.

Yep, it is a melanistic deer.  Pretty rare occurrence.

Last year I seen a 10 point buck here that was alot darker brown then the other deer here and I am seeing some does with a black tail

Must be a dark one in the wood pile someplace  :laf:

i saw that mealnistic hangin on  north american whitetail, when in the hospital for 2nd child looking at windor of our room wife sais wut u see said nutthing ,,, yet, that night a piebald all mottled and spotted cam out of woods middle of down town
