Your right Al. I did one on cutting up but the search thingy is as useless to me as most of the keys on this pad :argh:.
For field dressing, I would suggest neutral earthy colors like khaki or brown. But if it is a more formal occasion then consider a safari suit as the bare minimum.
You gotta have one of these too. :yoyo:

Barry is starting to worry about his post count getting to high, so he asked me to post this for you. I don't know anything about this, even though my dad tried to teach me. I might have been preoccupied with young girls or something. Anyway here is Barry cutting up deer.

Too easy .
Tappen when you see Als post you will see some good info. One thing I do when skinning is to remove as much hair as I can when done. The dang stuff sticks like "stupid does to a frog" and is painful to remove after it drys. Keep it clean is the first consideration in my books, followed closely by cooling down. Some hang it to tenderize but I cut mine as soon as it is cool and then freeze in packages that make a meal each. I never cut a bone anymore as I found that the marrow or something from bone cutting added a more "wild" taste to the meat.

The following Video will walk you through field dressing. Kentucky Afield also sells a video that takes you from the field to the freezer.Kentucky Afield Field Dressing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECdaKBbmGnU)
The Ky afield vid would be well worht the money for some one new to the sport. Field dressing , skinning , and butchering all there. All meat is boned out so that anyone can do it. Not a bad idea any way, boning that is. I prefer it myself. Jimmie
Here ya go buddy.........
