I think it was Ed who posted one last year and it is well done too. :innocentwhistle:  In fact I really liked it and made a small[very] effort to locate it to see if I might purchase it .

I kinda/sorta hate to run down a mans work with out knowing a lot of facts.  I reserve judgment on both until I see the whole case :noway:.

Fos,

How much did it cost to have that mount done?     :innocentwhistle:

They DO look ridiculous but the thing is if were judging them off of pics were a long way off. It's almost (not completely, but almost) impossible to take a decent pic of any cat close up.

I dont know what it is about the cats head but it just flat out doesnt photo well. I've tried it, I've seen it, I just dont get it.

I'd say the bottom picture Weed posted there is actually a better job of photography then it is taxidermy.

Yes, Wayne and Sue Miller of Waterford Michigan (WILD LIFE ARTIST STUDIO) are the best at creating a "lifelike" mount.

I've had them mount a couple animals before they decided to no longer accept custom work.

For the past several years they ONLY create and sell mounts for their eBay store.

Without a doubt, they do exceptional work!

Thankfully it's not mine! Taxidermist would know in no uncertain terms that it was unacceptable to me. (https://forum.finsandfur.net/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fv239%2FFOsteology%2FGIF%2Fboxing_smiley.gif&hash=cc27b1103b565ac6973b043b52a964720a3c2696)

Fos,
I knew that you would not accept anything that looked like those.

On a positive side they are all "good cats".  That is because any cat that is dead is a good cat.
