Title: Hey Bill
Post by: Hawks Feather on September 23, 2010, 06:53:46 PM
Bill,

Just wanted to let you know that I made it home and wondered if you did too.

Everyone else,

I got a message from Bill that he was headed to Bryan today (20 minutes down the road) so I went up to say Hi and have lunch.  We had a good time solving the world's problems.  So, all the FnF members can sleep well tonight since we have taken care of all the problems.  For what it is worth, the problems will be back tomorrow, but you can sleep well tonight.

Jerry

I just got home  :whew: the directions you gave me to get home saved me about 15 minutes travel time

If we solved all the world problems could you please tell me where this headache came from  :laf:

Meeting and talking to you today made the trip all worth while I do have a question for you though as I was coming across 6 just before I got to Bowling Green  I seen 4 wind turbines and was wondering how long those have been there and where does the power go that they produce

And yes I do have to go to Big Bear Lake in WV tomorrow
As they say no rest for the wicked  :laf:

Those are owned by the city of Bowling Green.  They started with two about 10 to 12 years ago and then added another one and the final one.  They have paid for themself by now.

So Obama can't get the credit for those then  :yoyo:

Fellers as Jerry and I were sitting there talking I looked around and asked him if his hunting area looked the same as what I was looking at there Now keep in mind Jerry lives in the west I live in the east  :laf: and he said oh yes.
I told him I wouldn't know how to hunt there it is way to flat.  :laf:

First time I had ever been to that part of Ohio, and Jerry made it a very memorable stop for me I could have spent another Hour or more there with no problems but I had to get back

Thanks Jerry

No problem Bill, it was my pleasure.

It is FLAT land and is also well inhabited.  If you aren't shooting into a woods (where you are sure there aren't any houses hidden) you have a good chance of hitting a house.

And with all the beans and corn that grow out that way when you get a deer you can always say it is corn fed  :laf:
And that is a good thing  :yoyo:

Yep, they don't eat grass around here till well after harvest.  Right now they are living in the corn, but as it comes off, they come out.  As I told Bill, right now there are about 1 or 2 deer kills (by cars) reported in the accident report fro an area about 12-15 miles around Defiance.  When they start taking corn off (especially at night) that number goes up to 15 to 20 per day.  Unless you have to, you don't want to drive at night around here when corn is being picked.  I think it is the deer are really mad that they are losing their feed and hiding places and take it out on cars.
