I set a camera up over looking the carcass from the doe I shot last saturday. These guys have been showing up mostly at night but then made an appearance yesterday morning at 9am. Of course, I wasn't in the woods then. :argh:

I wondered that too. :wo: I have been seeing more sign of them for a long time now. Last year I saw one along with a bobcat from a treestand. But mostly I figured the coyotes were just passing through. A mile or two away is a cow pasture and that may be where they hang their hat for the most part. I have killed one coyote (not called) and seen three over the years on my little patch of ground. But I don't believe my little farm is holding coyotes. Hope I am wrong.
I wonder if maybe they were in the area at the end of their night of perusing the wildlife buffet & just decided to lay down there til daybreak to see if any other predators were gonna try to steal it.
Purdy cool either way. That deer looks a bit lean on the ribs Johnny. You might wanna think about restocking that buffet & moving your treestand. :innocentwhistle:
cool pic , shows how wello they camoflage too. didnt pick em out at 1st glance. kinda like how u can look at a deer teurn ofr a sec and they gone
